These trips do not require any previous kayaking experience, but y ou must know how to swim. We will teach you kayaking basics and how to re-enter your kayak prior to getting on the water.

Our Guides:
Paddle Sports employs and trains friendly outdoor professionals that specialize in leading and teaching groups of kayakers with little or no experience.

Kids:
We can accomodate all ages over 5. Children under 12 will be in tandem kayaks with their parent or guardian for the duration of the trip.

First time offered. Vessel assisted kayak trip from Ventura Harbor.

Enjoy a nice easy 45 minute crossing to Anacapa Island aboard the Explorer, a 70ft custom dive vessel. Once at Anacapa we will unload at Frenchy's harbor and paddle the beautiful coast of West, Middle, and East Anacapa Islands.

Along the way we will have many opportunities to explore the sea caves and volcanic coves that are abundant on this island.

The Explorer will pick us up at East Anacapa serve lunch and head back to Ventura Harbor.

This is an excellent alternative option to the public ferry as this allows us more time and one way paddling options.
