Learn the basics and ettiquite of surf kayaking. This class introduces the beginner or novice to the world of waves. You will learn to read waves, currents and the people in the lineup you will be surfing next to. Next you will learn about the equipment used in the surf. Then on to the fun stuff, learn the tircks of the trade on the small inside waves. Breaking out through the waves, paddle strokes, hip movement, connection to the boat, getting out of the wave and using your body in the most efficient way. After this class the student will have a toolbox to pull from when starting to surf their craft.
