Beginner:
These events are fun and easy for people of all ages. We do ask that you are comfortable paddling several miles and you must know how to swim. Your guide/s will show you kayaking basics and how to re-enter your kayak prior to getting on the water.

Our Guides:
Paddle Sports employs and trains friendly outdoor professionals that specialize in leading and teaching groups of kayakers with little or no experience.

Kids:
We can accomodate all ages over 5 years old. Children under 12 will be in kayaks with an adult (parent/guardian). Keep in mind the younger the child is, the more work you as a parent/guardian will have to do. We recomend waiting until the child is 12 before taking them on a kayaking trip to the islands.

Miles Covered:
3-5 depending on conditions
Cost:
$235 and up / per person

The World's Longest Sea Cave

This isn't like the World's largest hamburger or ball of wax, this is technically the longest Sea Cave in the world. The opening is large enough to drive a 70 foot boat into it and the top of the cave is a good 130 feet from the surface of the water. We will paddle into this cave where you will float more than 1,200 feet deep in the darkness to the deepest chamber in the back of the cave. This an unreal experience not to be missed. Surrounding Painted Cave are a number of smaller caves that we will explore.

A trip out to this cave is now available out of the Santa Barbara Harbor on a semi-regular basis. But if you have a group of 15 or more that would like to take an unforgetable trip out to this island and explore this and other caves, we can arrange a private charter with all gear and delicious food inclusive.
