This skill level requires that you have been involved in a professional kayak courses and/or training or equivalent experience. You must know how to re-enter a sit-on-top kayak and should have a good understanding of how to maneuver your kayak in flat water.

Our Guides:
Under careful supervision, take your kayaking to the next level. Our guides will escort you on an adventure that will be challenging but within intermediate limitations.

Call us at 805-899-4925. Please plan at least 2 weeks out. All classes are by request only. Have a first and second choice of dates. If you are a party of 1 and cannot meet the minimum of 2 participants, the charge is $300 for a private class. No discounts for having your own gear, but it is encouraged to maximize the effectiveness of this class.

Provided: This class includes your friendly and informative instructor, wetsuit, closed-deck sea kayak, paddle, float, pump, PFD.

What you should bring: Lunch, water, snack. Any gear that you have or use while kayaking. An open mind and willingness to learn!

Where does the class take place: Our Rental/Demo center in the Santa Barbara Harbor.
