This unique trip combines paddling and biking along Santa Barbara's incredible coastline. The 2-mile paddle from Santa Barbara harbor to Butterfly Beach offers amazing vistas and abundant wildlife.

On the paddle we will hug the shoreline, getting a great view of the Riviera and the surrounding Santa Ynez Mountains. Keep an eye out for sea lions lounging among the buoys and dolphins swimming along the coast! Upon reaching Butterfly Beach, we will have a short snack and hop aboard our bikes and return the 2 miles to Santa Barbara along the waterfront bike path and Santa Barbara boardwalk.

The return bike ride passes the renowned Andrea Clark Bird Refuge, host to a wide variety of waterfowl, and the beautiful parks and beaches along the waterfront.

This tour starts at our dockside location in the Santa Barbara Harbor near Brophy Brothers Restaurant, a 5 minute walk from Santa Barbara waterfront lodging. An excellent afternoon, or morning activity for everyone of all ages and skill levels.
